The lawn robot can be easily operated in two user-friendly ways: via the Bluetooth app “Cloud Hawk” or the touch control panel on the device. Various safety features ensure security during mowing, including lift, tilt, and obstacle sensors.

How does the Yard Force SA900B lawn robot work?

Thanks to its powerful lithium-ion battery (28V/2.9Ah), this Yard Force lawn robot has enough energy to cover an area of about 900m² (this figure represents the weekly performance of the lawn mower robot). Hilly sections or slopes of ±40% are no problem. The cutting height can be set in 5 levels between 20 and 60mm, with a cutting width of 180mm. During mowing, the Yard Force SA900B moves in a so-called “random movement pattern,” covering the lawn area randomly.

What kind of gardens is the Yard Force SA900B suitable for?

The SA900B lawn robot can also be used in complex gardens consisting of multiple zones. Even here, the Yard Force SA900B finds its way fully automatically—once set up, it takes over the lawn mowing. Using the so-called “mulching principle,” the lawn robot cares for the lawn with every mowing session. The cut grass falls to the ground in small clippings, where it provides moisture and serves as an additional nutrient source for the soil.

Yard Force SA900B as the Bluetooth-enabled successor to the Yard Force SA900ECO

The SA900B model follows the Yard Force SA900ECO lawn mower robot. The suffix in the model name already points to the main new feature: the lawn robot now includes Bluetooth control. The user-friendly operation via the panel on the device remains available.

Simple and fully automatic

Once set up, the lawn mower robot requires no further assistance from you to maintain the lawn. It navigates independently over the defined lawn area and can react to obstacles thanks to its sensors. It also features an automatic charging function.

Bluetooth App “Cloud Hawk”

The lawn robot can be conveniently operated via the Bluetooth app. The “Cloud Hawk” app can be easily installed on a smartphone and offers, alongside the intuitive control panel on top of the device, a second way to control the Yard Force SA900B.

Hilly gardens are no problem

Thanks to its powerful battery and tires, the mower robot easily handles uneven lawns. This model masters slopes up to ±40%. Even in complexly designed gardens, the Yard Force SA900B finds its way independently without any issues.

Safety while mowing

To ensure safety during mowing, the Yard Force SA900B is equipped with several features that activate in dangerous situations. The lawn robot has lift and tilt sensors that cause the rotating blade disc to stop instantly if the robot is lifted or tilted. Additionally, the integrated safety sensor detects objects in the SA900B’s path. To avoid collisions, the mower stops, reverses, and navigates around the obstacle.

Protection against unauthorized use

To prevent unauthorized use, the Yard Force lawn robot is secured with a PIN code. This ensures that only the owner or authorized persons can operate the Yard Force SA900B. To protect against theft, the lawn mower robot also has an additional alarm function.

Operation via Bluetooth or control panel

In addition to a user-friendly control panel, the Yard Force SA900B offers Bluetooth control. The necessary “Cloud Hawk” app from Yard Force can be quickly and easily installed on a smartphone. Users are guided through all further steps to set up settings and functions. The control panel is intuitive, making it easy to navigate. The control panel on top of the lawn robot was also used on the predecessor model Yard Force SA900ECO and was adopted for the SA900B due to positive experience.

Activatable rain sensor of the mower robot

The Yard Force SA900B has a rain sensor that can be activated or deactivated as needed. This allows you to decide whether the lawn robot should work in rain or sunshine. We recommend avoiding mowing in rainy weather—wet grass can stick inside the housing and significantly increase cleaning effort.

Control of the Yard Force SA900B via Bluetooth app

The 2023 SA900B model from Yard Force can also be controlled via Bluetooth app. The predecessor device Yard Force SA900ECO features a user-friendly control panel on top of the robot for direct operation on the device. This type of operation is still available for the Yard Force SA900B. With the Bluetooth app “Cloud Hawk,” there is now an additional, convenient way to adjust, monitor, and change the settings on the lawn robot.
